We needed two desks after moving (miss our old Costco desks :( ) and ordered a matching set of these.Overall we like them, but have a few points to bring up that might help others decide if they are right for them.Pros-Once assembled they are pretty sturdy, much more than I thought they would be out of the box.Lots of room for our battlestations, we each have two 27" monitors on them, and I have my NZXT H510 on my desk and I still have plenty of room. The little side portion has a second shelf mounting point so my wife's massive NZXT H710 fits in this slot perfectly, since she didn't want it on her actual desktop. The long shelf underneath offers a lot of storage space.Instructions were basic, not too difficult to assemble, but 2 people makes it easier. They are able to reverse so you can customize the layout of having more than one L type desk.Cons-Boxes arrived with decent damage, as if something smacked into the side of the boxes. One of the shelves was bent slightly, but was able to unbend it to make it work. Some slight damage on the edges of the desks that may have happened in transit.Although the instructions were basic, we had some difficulty with setting up the pair of desks in opposite facings (we are more than capable dexterity/intellect wise, the instructions just confused us a bit). The desktops are a bit thinner than the photos might lead one to believe, like just over 1/4" thick, but after they are built this doesn't seem to be an issue since the frame appears to be sturdy.Contacted customer support about the condition they arrived in, the slight damage to the edges of the desktops, and the bent piece. Was offered an Amazon credit since we didn't want to return these as we already built them. Was happy they compensated us a bit instead of forcing us to return or replace them.Overall, we are happy w/ our new battlestations for the time being until we can wall mount the monitors and move these into our new office.I've been using this desk for a few weeks now - very pleased with it. No complaints whatsoever. I saw a few reviews where people said it seemed smaller than they expected, but it exactly matches the measurements in the description so it was sized perfectly to my expectations. Building it wasn't super easy but it definitely wasn't particularly difficult. Anyone who has assembled household furniture before (Ikea/etc) knows how that goes... Just pay very close attention to the instructions and don't tighten things all the way until the end, when you're able to confirm you've done everything correctly. I was able to put the whole thing together by myself. One tricky part is the little plastic feet that go into the legs of the frame. I saw someone complain that their feet didn't fit into the legs but that's not entirely accurate. It is a VERY snug fit but it does fit. The plastic extends ever so slightly larger than the leg's hole because it needs squeeze in there for long term permanence. A hammer or mallet would do the trick. I was too lazy to grab my hammer so I just slammed it on the floor and they went in just fine. :)Other than that, assembly was a breeze. I was a little worried that my computer wouldn't fit into the little shelf thing on the left side because my computer is absolutely massive (it's a gaming/production PC). Pleasantly surprised to find it fit PERFECTLY. Like a glove. Literally every dimension of my computer's case has between 1-3mm of clearance with the desk frame. It slid right in there like they were designed to go together. I can only assume that the designers of this desk purposefully made that computer shelf thing the exact size of whatever the standard biggest size is for computer cases. Also, I noticed at first that the desk seemed a little squeaky when I put pressure on one area of it. I checked all of the screws and found a couple that could be tightened just a bit more and now it's perfectly silent.Solid desk for a solid price. ?I picked up this desk while on sale for $170 it is very sturdy and the particle board feels very nice, the only issue I cam across was step 4, it says to use #1 screws when it really should be #3 screws for putting the shelving on ypu will need those #1s in a later step.Loved the way that we got to pick the lay out of the desk. It was a gift for my teenage son and he really like the way it looks. It is sturdy enough for all his gaming & computer. The under shelves really help clean up the clutter of all his games. It took me a little while to put it together but I was doing it by myself. I have recommended this deck to others, perfect size and stylishThe desk was pretty easy to assemble, is very sturdy, and looks great in my office. However, I had to dig through my own toolbox for a leftover bolt that would fit this desk, as one of the #1 bolts came without a head. You’re given exactly as many are needed to complete the assembly, which is really irregular in my experience purchasing furniture to assemble myself. I had another bolt on hand from a prior furniture assembly that fit perfectly, thank goodness! The desk came late and it would have been frustrating to have to wait for replacement hardware to come in too. Otherwise, the desk is a great addition to my office and perfectly fits my needs!I love this desk. It is very sturdy and I structure s make for easy assembly. The shelf on the underside isn't as wide as I wanted it to be. It's a bit thi ner that a standard college rolled notebook. It's great for school. I have a second monitor, a 3d printer, and laptop on this thing and still have space to write things down. The built in outlet is amazing as well.Wish there were more outlets and usb outlets. Otherwise great! Contrary to one review, the small middle shelf is height adjustable! Top came mildly damaged but it’s what I expect for a cheap price! This entire thing is insanely sturdy!I assume reviewers saying this is hard to assemble are not very smart bc it was easy
