I really like this desk. Because of the awesome previous reviews, I built it from the bottom up and it was pretty easy. You can’t tighten every piece or else it won’t align to the wall, but once everything is screwed in it’s sturdy. I attached a photo of the desk right after I built it. It serves its purpose well. This is perfect for my bedroom study area having gone back to college. Start from bottom, then top, then assemble with unit flat joining to middle.CHECK THE SCREW LENGTH of the smaller screws that affix the bars to bottom of desk. Mine were too long and went through the top of the desk. I grabbed smaller ones to replace. I also used deck style screws to the sheetrock and floor because I like things over built and I am a 6 foot adult. What it comes with is good for the average. Well designed and I am impressed. This desk is definitely a cool statement piece, but please, please, PLEASE for the love of all things holy, heed my advice… brace or have some one assist you, and build it from the bottom, up! I build things often and have absolutely no clue how anyone can successfully build this (per the instructions) from the top, down. Please also note that much of the metal comes preassembled, but must be partially disassembled at certain points in order to add the shelving. As another reviewer stated, the wood screws that assemble into the main desk shelf are too long. You will need to get washers or screw them in at an angle in order to avoid having the screws protrude. Ultimately, the product was well worth the heartache.Easy to assemble. Perfect for small homeschool space. Great piece for modern farmhouse theme. Nice accompaniment to similar bookshelf. Downfall, wooden pieces were slightly damaged which was a bit disappointing and is why I chose to give it only a 3 star rating. Some of the pipes can’t be fully tightened but still a good little deskOverall the product itself is nice for the cost and does look just like the photos. I’m happy with the product but the packaging was terrible. I purchased 3 of them and all 3 were just thrown into a box with almost no foam or cardboard protection. All of them came with dents on the corners and each box had a different number and style of hardware. One box didn’t even have the right screws but fortunately the other box had enough extras for me to make the setup work. I would have returned the items due to damages but I was about to repair and hide all the scratches and dents. Disappointing to have to put in that extra work tho. Especially on ALL 3 desks. So it looks easy to Assemble. But one leg was stripped, the screwed to screw the desk to the legs are too long and they poke through the desk. So I had to add thick washers to the screws to make the screws from popping through. Honestly best way to assemble this desk is from the bottom up, not the top down like it suggest. I truely feel like it was a waste of money. Ive never left a bad review from amazon but its hard to swallow spending $110 on a desk for it to just be flawed. Just reading the reviews, i know im not the only one with the wrong size screws. But other then that it looks nice. Make sure you have thick washers, a drill for the screws, and Patients of a saint. Hope this review helps and good Luck!Very low quality materials. One of the corners was damaged when I opened the box to discover. The instructions were a one-pager that was small and unclear, with no words at all. The parts were not labeled as the instructions showed. The whole table is very wobbly, because the screws either don't screw in all the way or the length of each compartment won't fit right.
